Hardware-Free Turntable | Smooth and Stable Turntable | No Hardware Required | Lazy Susan

The rotation is very stable and smooth. It is especially suitable for painting and displaying models and other works, for pastry making, clay modeling, and other handicrafts.

Note:

The longer it is used, the smoother it will become as burrs on the parts wear off.

Anti-slip pads or anti-slip foam tape should be applied to the bottom to prevent slipping on smooth surfaces and affecting rotation.

Principle: Because the circumference of different points on the top platform varies during rotation, tapered rollers are specially designed and placed obliquely to prevent drag that would cause sliding friction. This ensures that all contact points experience rolling friction, which has the least friction. This design structurally guarantees smoother rotation.

Applying a little lubricant to the rollers (Roller) during installation should improve the effect, but my own tests showed little difference, as the clever design already makes the turntable very smooth, so lubricant is not necessary.

Updated 2026/02/09, two versions are now available.

V1 version, which is already good enough. Due to tiny tolerances in each filament type, in very rare cases, the outer frame (Wall) might loosen slightly, which could affect rotation, but it only needs to be pressed firmly back into place.

This situation has only occurred twice for me in 3 months, so, unless absolutely necessary, there is no need to upgrade to the V2 version. However, you can try the new top platform (Platform) from the V2 version.

(V1 improvement suggestions: Pad the gaps with a small piece of paper, and the installation will be very secure. You can also use a tiny bit of glue to bond the outer frame and the base together, just a tiny amount, do not glue the rotating shaft.)

V2 version, the outer frame (Wall) will no longer loosen, but please note: the V2 version cannot be disassembled once installed, whereas the V1 version can be disassembled.

V2 version updates (version with blue shaft in the photos)

1. Updated the Base and outer frame (Wall) with a surrounding snap groove, so the outer frame (Wall) will no longer loosen.

2. Provided two new top platforms (Platform), one with reference lines and one without. These are universal with the V1 version and can be interchanged.

(The reference lines indicate the center, 90-degree lines, and circles with 20mm spacing, useful as a guide for handicrafts.)

Installation Tips:

Each part is installed by direct press-fit, no hardware or glue is needed.

1. First, place the base (Base) with the bottom facing up, then insert the rollers (Roller) from the side

2. Next, install the outer frame (wall) by pressing it directly. This forms a complete rotating base

Note, if the outer frame (wall) is not pressed into place correctly, the rotation will not be smooth.

If the V1 version becomes unsmooth after some use, it's likely that the outer frame has loosened slightly, just press it firmly back into place.

Due to the added snap groove, the V2 version is a bit tight. Don't worry, please press it firmly into place.

3. Then flip the base over, press the platform onto the base, and finally tighten the screws.

If a few anti-slip rubber pads are attached to the bottom, it can prevent slipping on the desktop, and the effect will be even better.

The adhesive foam 20x0.5mm-NC005 sold on the Bambu official website works very well for anti-slip.

Have Fun.
