I’ve updated the fantastic work by @McGrimey so that it’s now possible to use an EBB36 (or similar board) together with the Dragon Burner on an Adventurer 3.

Versions

  • V0
Uses the standard EBB36-DragonBurner mount by MapleLeafMakers,
    secured with 2× M3 screws and 2× M3 heat-set inserts.

You'll NEED to use an Extended Extruder Mount from the Dragon Burner Repo!

  • V1
Integrates the EBB36-DragonBurner directly into the carriage.
This version is based on the sharkfin.stl file from MapleLeafMakers’ repository

The model has been modified to directly mount to the X Carriage, and is secured using one of the 40 mm screws from the main BOM.

You can use the Normal Extruder Mounts

🧰 Bill of Materials (BOM)

QuantityItem
M3×40 mm screws
M3 heat-set inserts
LM6LUU (or longer) linear bearing — LM6LUU works well
LM8LUU linear bearing
M3 square nuts
Flashforge Adventurer 3 running Klipper (Klippventurer project)
BTT EBB36 (or similar CAN board)

Additional parts for V0

  • 2× M3 heat-set inserts (recommended: M3×4×5)
  • 2× M3×10 mm screws (or longer)
