Description

Ender 5 Plus Z-Axis Stablizers

This is similar to another model I found but that model had a few flaws, and used M4 screws. I designed this model specifically to be 3d printed and fit perfectly.

These require 2 M5 bolts and T nuts each, plus a 608 bearing. I used these bearings https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XVPGMXQ and they fit perfectly. I tried other bearings too but they were a bit tight - both in the part and on the z-axis lead screw. The holes for the M5 screws are a bit oversized to allow for positioning. I'd recommend printing in something that can withstand some minor forces, repeated heat cycles, and won't break down when exposed to these conditions. Something like ABS, ASA, PETG-CF, PC, PA-CF, etc. I printed in PC and they're amazing.

Please print with at least 4 walls (0.4mm nozzle) and 25+% infill. The 4 walls ensures that the surface that holds the screws is pretty solid and won't compress.
