Description

Turn Empty Filament Boxes into Modular, Upcycled Storage

Tired of throwing away empty filament boxes?

This design transforms your used filament cardboard into something actually useful.

Simply cut your filament box along the folding and slide the pieces into the 3D-printed frame - no glue, no screws. The result: a clean, sturdy storage box that looks great on any maker’s desk or shelf.

The design consists of the following parts

  1. Main Frame
  2. Top Frame
  3. Bot Frame

I made two sizes for the different BambuLab filament cardboards:

  1. 184x184mm boxes
  2. 195x195mm boxes
