Description
This is a pet brush with an integrated fur removal system! The dial rotates (with a satisfying snap!) to extend the push plate and present the fur above the brush for easy removal and cleaning.
The print consists of 4 components which assemble without additional hardware or glue (assembly is straightforward, but I made an assembly guide which is attached).
The brush bristles are designed with a soft scallop to gently catch the underfur and aid in removal. This is my cats' new favorite brush - so much that it was hard to get the brushing photos because the other one kept attacking my hand to get more brushes!
I prefer this design in PETG so the bristles are softer, stronger, and less prone to breakage; but I have confirmed the design works in PLA as well. The design is optimized for 3D printing without need for supports.
