Description

A bracket that lets you mount the old X1/P1 AMS buffer on the A1 series.

With the new firmware A1 and A1mini can now use the AMS, AMS2 Pro and AMS HT.

The bracket can be mounted on the back of the A1 or A1mini frame using the screw holes for the transport/stiffener/spool holder bracket.

It is angled so the cable connections are pointing to the rear for better cable management and will not interfere with the print bed.

Note: Older A1's may not have all the mounting holes on the back of the frame. Newer ones have 2 set of mounting holes: An upper for the transport bracket and a lower for the AMS lite top mount stiffener. The bracket fits both positions.

For mounting you can use the screws that came with the transport/spool holder bracket or any M3x8mm.

A user named HaSQUE made a nice video showing the installation:

If you want to wall mount the buffer there is also a bracket for that:

I also made a bracket for the new A1 series hub, to mount it on the back of the A1 and A1mini frame:
