IKEA Kallax Spool holder

Store your spools in your IKEA KALLAX using this simple holder.

You can store up to two rows of 200 mm spools inside a single KALLAX cell. Stores up to 5 spools per row, for a total of 10 per KALLAX cell. (depends on the width of your spools, 5 Bambu Lab spools fit inside one row, for a total of 10 per cell).

Assembly instruction

Take one "holder"_pos" and one “holder_neg” and assemble them using the peg and the hole. A dab of superglue will help.

To fix onto your shelf, use double face tape (the thick kind). Apply one piece of tape in the middle and on the edges of the bottom of the assembled part.

For one row, you need 2 "holder"_pos" and "holder"_neg". For a full kallax cell, you need 4 "holder"_pos" and "holder"_neg"

Positioning the holders

Two ways of doing it :

• Tape it inside your KALLAX shelf cell, 15-16 mm from the edge of the cell. Space them 80 mm (see attached picture).
• Use the provided guides to align them (uses around 15g of filament). Push the guides sideways until they rest against the sides of the cell (see attached picture). Secure holders using double sided tape, or glue.

Remember to always make the "round" side face toward the spool edge. (see attached pictures).
