Turn your empty filament spools into useful rope or cord holders!
This simple yet powerful attachment lets you wind rope, paracord, twine, or extension cords neatly using a standard power drill. Designed for quick winding and reuse of old spools, it’s a must-have for any 3D printer workspace or garage.

⚙️ Features

  • ♻️ Reuse Your Spools: Fits most standard filament spools (Bambu, Prusament, etc.)
  • 🔩 Drill Ready: Attaches to any drill with a ¼″ hex bit for fast winding
  • 💪 Optional Handle: Print the included handle add-on for manual winding or storage
  • 🧶 Multi-Purpose: Perfect for rope, paracord, string lights, extension cords, etc
  • 🧠 Smart Design: Lightweight, strong geometry for easy printing and minimal material use

🧩 Assembly

  1. Screw the 2 halves together through the center of the empty spool.
  2. Insert the hex bit into the smaller winding hole.  It will be a tight fit and might require some extra juice.
  3. Start winding! Keep tension steady for even layers.
  4. When finished - unscrew the sections and store the handle / key inside!
