Filament drying enclosure

Description
♻️ Who Needs a Filament Dryer Anyway?
Why buy another bulky filament dryer when your 3D printer already has everything you need?
This is my DIY filament drying enclosure, designed to fit right over a standard filament spool and turn your printer into its own built-in dryer.
It connects to your printer’s bed heater and fans, using the heat and airflow that are already there to gently dry your filament. No extra boxes, no power cables, no wasted space — just smart, efficient drying while your printer does the work.
To make it even better, I added a center spacer that keeps the spool slightly lifted from the bed. That gap helps the warm air flow evenly around your filament, giving you perfect results without overheating or uneven drying.
✅ Why it’s useful
No need to buy a separate filament dryer
Uses your printer’s own heat and fans
Fits most standard filament rolls
Built-in cone spacer for ideal airflow
Small, clean, and super easy to use
Keeps your filament dry and ready to print anytime
If you like smart, space-saving solutions that make your setup simpler — this enclosure is for you.
Just print it, pop it on, and let your printer do the drying for you.
Put your bed heater on, adjust your aux and chamber fans for ventilation.
