Magnetic Exhaust Damper / Silencer for P2S
This magnetic exhaust damper is specially developed and perfectly adapted for the P2S. Two 6x3 mm magnets are required per connection hole – totaling 14 pieces for complete assembly.
I optimized this model specifically for the P2S to efficiently dampen the exhaust air while remaining easily removable. Unfortunately, I don't have precise measurements for noise reduction, but the difference is clearly audible when printing with ABS!
For comparison: On my X1 Carbon, the damper reduces the volume by about 10 decibels – which is a noticeable difference in operation.
Assembly Tip:
The interior is lined with self-adhesive felt to further minimize vibrations and sound. The magnetic attachment ensures everything sits firmly but can be easily detached if needed.
Simple, effective, and super practical – a small upgrade with a big impact!
The original model is the exhaust damper from eds_3d_shop.
