🟢 PICCOLO – Dragon Ball Character (Proto9-Based)

Hey friends!

I’ve just finished a new Dragon Ball character: Piccolo!

While assembling Piccolo, I realized the joint connections were harder than expected—so I had to modify the Proto9 base frame 😭

In this assembly video, I added a bit of playful nostalgia at the beginning—hope you don’t mind!
It brought back some childhood memories, so I couldn’t resist 😄

The actual assembly part is edited briefly—if you want more detailed guidance, please check out the Proto9 or Goku assembly videos.

🧩 Assembly Notes

If you’ve never printed or assembled Proto9, I highly recommend starting with that first.
Most parts are similar to Proto9, but the chest, forearms, and legs are different—so please watch the video before assembling!

🛠 Printing Tips

  • If you print using PLA, joints may loosen over time.
I uploaded a video showing how I fix that using nail polish—it worked great for me!
  • My video includes subtitles, so feel free to check out other videos too.
  • Nail polish seems cheaper and more effective than other options
    (though I haven’t searched for alternatives—haha!)

🧱 Plate Guide

  • GREEN: Green torso parts
  • VIOLET: Purple frame and armor
  • YELLOW: Yellow arm parts (I tried to capture Piccolo’s look, but it didn’t come out perfect 😅)
  • BROWN: Shoes
  • RED: Belt
  • HEAD_AMS: For those who want to print the head using AMS
  • YELLOW_TO_GREEN: Combined yellow + green plate
  • GREEN_HAND: Extra hand parts beyond the basic fists

🖨 Print Info

  • Arranged using Bambu Studio’s default layout
  • If you’ve printed Proto9 before, this one should be easy to handle
  • Please—try Proto9 first before jumping into this one!

I hope you enjoy the model and have a great time building it.
Thanks again for all your support and feedback!
