Print Profile(1)

Description
The Leifeng Pagoda was built in the second year of Taiping Xingguo (977) in the Northern Song Dynasty by Qian Hongchu, King Zhongyi of Wuyue, because his concubine Huang gave birth to a son. It was originally named 'Huang Fei Pagoda' (Imperial Concubine Pagoda). As it was built on Leifeng Hill, later generations renamed it 'Leifeng Pagoda'.
