Have you thrown away your spool cardboard tube

Thrown it away? Then save it up, over

Haven't thrown it away? Please continue reading, continue

For me, cardboard tubes are like trophies, I can't bear to throw them away, but they take up space. So, since there's no place to store the cardboard tubes, let's use the cardboard tubes as storage

(The model uses Bambu official filament cardboard tubes)

Model Features

  •  Simple parts, no supports
  • Modular, infinitely connectable
  • Various drawers and baffles to choose from
  • More fun modules coming soon

Issues

  • Bambu filament cardboard tubes actually come in three specifications, with thicknesses of 2.1mm, 2.7mm, and 3mm

Based on dozens of cardboard tubes I have, most are 2.7mm thick, so the model is designed based on the 2.7mm thickness. It is backward compatible with 2.1mm (loose fit), and 3mm can also be installed (requires a lot of force to make it work)

If you have problems during installation, it is likely a thickness issue. Please replace it with a suitable cardboard tube

Modules

  • Transparent Explorer Edition Drawer

The grid effect requires specific filament and printer calibration. If your print quality is not good, please try

    1、drying the filament

    2、using official PLA Basic

    3、ensuring good machine cooling

4、switching to printing the standard drawer

The images are real prints from A1 mini, P1S, H2S using Bambu PLA Basic.

  • Standard drawer - opaque front
  • Cardboard tube connector front/back
  • Cardboard tube base connector
  • Cardboard tube back cover
  • Cardboard tube U-shaped front baffle
