Customized Drawer Handle – Sleek Design with Red Line

 

My drawer handles were worn out, so I decided to design a new, more aesthetic model with a thin red insert line. The result is both understated and modern.

 

Technical Dimensions :

  • Height: 30 mm
  • Length: 74 mm
  • Outer Diameter: 10 mm
  • Screw Hole: 2.5 mm

Color Configuration (Bambu Lab AMS) :

  • Slot 1: Bambu Basic red filament
  • Slot 4: Bambu Basic white filament

By placing your spools in the same slots, you will get a white handle with a red line, as shown in the photos. Of course, feel free to customize the colors according to your preferences by changing the order in the AMS.

 

Recommended Print Settings :

  • Resolution: 0.12 mm for clean curves
  • Infill: 100% rectilinear for optimal strength
  • Outer brim: highly recommended for good bed adhesion (as the contact surface is reduced)

Print orientation : The handle is deliberately oriented horizontally to limit filament changes to only 11 layers. Vertically, this would have required 248 changes – not practical. The quality achieved horizontally is excellent (see photos), with no need for supports. Once printing is complete, simply remove the outer brim.

 

Finishing : Light sanding with very fine abrasive paper is enough to achieve a flawless finish.

 

Without AMS : If you don't have an AMS system, feel free to print the handle in a single color – the design remains elegant and functional.
