Design Overview

This LED diffuser is designed to mount directly to the rear X-Axis assembly of the Bambu Lab A1 Mini, providing a clean, even lighting effect across the print area. It was created primarily for use with the *BIQU Panda Lux LED strip, but it should also work with other slim LED lighting options.

Print & Assembly

Two print profiles are included:

• Dual-colour version: allows you to print the mount in black (or another opaque/stiffer material) and the diffuser in white/clear PETG for optimal light diffusion.
• Single-colour version: for those who do not have an AMS, though dual-colour is preferred for best performance and aesthetics.

It’s recommended to use a white or transparent PETG for the diffuser &  a stiffer, opaque material such as PETG-CF or ABS for the mounting section to:

• Prevent sag across the diffuser span
• Reduce unwanted light bleed to the rear of the printer

The diffuser attaches using the two M3×8 screws that come with the A1 Mini (no extra hardware required). The diffuser simply slides between the toolhead & the X-Axis assembly then can be screwed into the two M3 holes on the rear of the X-Axis assembly.

Conclusion

This simple add-on improves workspace visibility and adds a professional, finished look found in Bambu's more expensive models to your A1 Mini setup.

*As far as I am aware this model is not compatible with the Bambu Lab A1, only the A1 mini. If anyone wants to try and mount this model to the A1 and find it fits, please let me know in the comments and I will happily provide a longer/updated model for the A1.
