This engineered, high-end jump rope brings elite performance to your 3D printer without the $100 price tag. Designed from the ground up for durability, precision, and speed, this model has been refined through six full prototype generations to achieve competition-level performance.

 

Real-world tested by four dedicated CrossFit athletes, this design has endured over a year of consistent training and competition — including double-unders, high-speed intervals, and daily gym use — with zero mechanical failures.

Model Details

  • Filament Used: Bambu Labs PLA-CF (for added strength and rigidity)
  • Prototyping: Six iterative printed models tested for endurance and performance
    • Including 5 different filaments tests with infill variances
      • PLA, ABS, ABS-GF, PETG, PLA+2.0 and PLA-CF
  • Testing: Real-world CrossFit use across multiple athletes for over a year
  • Final Version: Optimized for speed, balance, and long-term reliability
    • Can use either ABS, PLA 2.0+ or PLA-CF

Additional Components Required

This model includes 3D printable parts only. You’ll need to supply:

  • Steel cable or coated rope of your preferred length
  • Bearings
  • Traction rings if wanted
  • Heated Brass Inserts

Additional Optional Components

  • 4mm x 6mm Carbon rod
    • This is an optional reinforcement to by epoxied in, just under brass insert either while printing (if you print object upside down) or after by cutting to  .90inches and dropping through bottom of handle
