🌀 Air Deflector for P2S – Uniform Flow and Improved Adhesion

 

The P2S air deflector is designed to optimize the model's new adaptive airflow system, which uses a duct positioned on the right side.


Despite the excellent efficiency of the original system, the airflow remains concentrated in the center of the print bed, leaving the sides less ventilated. 

 

Furthermore, during the first layer printing, the bed plate partially covers the air outlet, reducing the local temperature and increasing the risk of warping and poor adhesion.

 

This deflector solves both problems:

🔄 Uniform airflow distribution across the entire bed surface.

🌡️ Reduced temperature variations during the first layer.

🧩 Easy to install, compatible with the original duct.

🧱 No permanent modifications to the printer.

 

Perfect for those looking for more consistent adhesion, improved surface quality, and reduced risk of warping during printing.

 

N.B.
I do not recommend printing in PLA.

However, I kindly ask you to always ensure your printer is properly calibrated, specifically:

⚙️ Correctly set extrusion flow

🧲 If you have adhesion issues, try using a brim or a gripper

💡 Important note: Any print failures are not due to the model or print profile.

 

All files are thoroughly tested before publication, and I always share the print profile I used for the published results.
