GWR 4277 “Hercules” – Hueforge 3D-Printed Railway Artwork

Celebrate the golden age of steam with this Hueforge 3D-printed artwork of GWR 4277 “Hercules”, a powerful 2-8-0T heavy freight locomotive of Great Western Railway heritage. This piece captures the engine in motion across the countryside, its plume of steam rising against a soft horizon — a nostalgic tribute to British rail history and engineering brilliance.

Created using the Hueforge system, this artwork is built entirely from layered filament, with no paint or ink. Each layer forms intricate depth, shading, and tonal variation, producing a visually striking three-dimensional finish that changes beautifully with the light. The black background, grey and blue shading, and crisp white framing evoke a timeless photographic realism with a tactile, durable surface.

Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.08mm with a base layer of 0.16mm

The Model is 170x113.39mm in size

You may print at higher layer heights below the Base Thickness of 0.48mm
The Max allowed Thickness is 2.24mm and the Actual Thickness is 2.23997mm
