The Problem

This case insert solves a specific problem I had with the stock case insert from Ruger. My RXM came with a Vortex Venom enclosed red dot and wouldn't fit perfectly in the stock insert and would push at a weird angle when the optic cover was installed. I feel like I can do better.

The Solution

My goal with this case insert was to have a better fit for the gun and optic while also giving me storage for the things I'd need for a range day:

• Multiple magazines - confirmed to fit: 15 and 17 round PMAG GL9
• Speed loader - I printed this one out
• Optic adjuster tool - this one is specifically for the Vortex Venom enclosed red dot that came with the gun
• Spare CR2032 battery for the optic
• Hearing protection
• Ammo/extra storage underneath

I believe I've achieved this goal with this case insert.

The Future

I may end up modifying the gun in the future. As I do so, I'll update the model so it will fit around my mods. Maybe a light, maybe a compensator, maybe just a threaded barrel cutout.

Edit 2026-02-28: A handful of folks have asked for an insert that can accomodate a WML and compensator, so a new print profile has been added for that.

Edit 2025-12-04: I've received a new threaded barrel and will be making a couple minor changes so the cutout fits the new longer barrel. I also can confirm that the Glock 17-sized PMAG 17 fits both loaded into the grip and also in the existing magazine cutouts.
