Pint Size Ice Cream Holder

New!  Version 2 of both variations of the cup has a few curve tweaks and a larger spoon opening.  Upon several requests I have created the second version, a handle free version of the cup.  It still has the same features as the original cup but with a larger opening for larger spoons and is missing the handle.  The original profile is still available and upon request I added a profile and STL file for the original with no handle. 

I enjoy designing helpful gadgets for around the house or other areas of need.  I noticed my husband was putting his pints of ice cream in various cups many of which made me roll my eyes.  I tried a few I found here on Makers World but they were not working for me and most allowed the container to spin which was irritating and the spoon in the handle was not comfortable.  I designed this cup from scratch and measured several different brand containers for the dimensions.  I put a slightly protruding rim to apply a little pressure to keep the container in place.  Then I designed internal ribs that slightly squeeze the container to keep it from spinning while scooping the yummy goodness.  I created a spoon holder on opposite side of the handle so left and right handed people could use it comfortably.  As well, it keeps the spoon out of the way of your hands. And finally, I gave the exterior surface a “Fuzzy” texture to keep the cup from slipping while in the hands.  I set up the profile to use supports which hold up the bridge between the handle and cup.  It has a moderate top z distance and set it up to have the support practically fall off.  I printed several of these for friends and neighbors using both PLA and PETG in several colors and brands with no errors or issues using my Bambu Labs A1 and A1 Mini.  Hopefully everyone can print on other printers using this profile with few if any modifications.  These make excellent small gifts.  Everyone seems to love them.  Please enjoy.
