Description: Case for ESP8266 with Magnetic Lid
This case was self-designed in a CAD program and is specifically developed for the ESP8266. It offers a compact and stable solution to securely house the microcontroller while making it easily accessible.
The lid is magnetically attached, allowing the case to be quickly opened and closed without screws. This facilitates access to connections, power supply, or any sensors without having to damage the case.
For fastening, magnets and screws from the Bambu Cyberbriks system are used. This allows the case to be seamlessly integrated into existing Cyberbriks projects while remaining modular and flexible.
The design ensures that the ESP8266 is securely fixed and good air circulation is maintained. Optionally, cable glands or cutouts for pins can be individually adapted.
The case can best be printed from PLA or PETG with a layer height of 0.2 mm. The magnet receptacle is designed for small round magnets (e.g. 5 × 2 mm).
This case is ideal for Smart Home projects, sensor stations or IoT applications where the ESP8266 needs to be protected but easily accessible.
