I don't understand H2D's numbering and order management for AMS
For example, my first AMS2pro connected to the machine is numbered D in H2D; while the last AMS Gen1 connected to the machine is numbered B
To help me see this order at a glance, instead of opening the mobile app or touching the machine's control screen, I wanted to make a label to stick on
At first, I planned to write it on label paper and stick it on, but then I thought, this really doesn't fit the vibe of a 3D printing enthusiast, so I went to WM to look for relevant models
But other people's models always fell a little short of what I wanted, either labels for filament order in AMS, or just a single set of labels
So I just made one, it's very simple, I didn't even need to open modeling software, I did it directly in the slicer
I made three sets in total: numbers, letters, and Roman numerals, everyone can use them according to their needs, colors and materials can be changed as you like, it doesn't matter, just print them out and stick them on with a small piece of double-sided tape
Here's a group photo, then I'll briefly explain how I use them
First, the AMS on the far left is my first AMS, from the now-discontinued X1CC kit, so its number is 1, and it has no H2D number
The one at the top is my first AMS2pro, from the H2DC kit that frequently drops in price, now that I bought it at the original launch price, my heart is calm, it has two labels on it, the top one is Roman numeral one, and the bottom one is its H2D number D
The AMS on the far right at the top of H2D is the third AMS I purchased, so its number is 3, and its H2D number is B. It was the last AMS connected to H2D, the reason for this arrangement is that there is an empty space next to it to temporarily add an AMS HT, needing to free up an interface behind it for when the AMS HT is added, so it was the last machine connected
The usage of labels on the other two machines is similar
Please feel free to use these labels, no need to be polite with me
