Description
I have the BABO+DUO AMS Drawer Stacker, which is wall mounted above a H2D printer. This Stacker allows the AMS 2 Pro units to slide forward and down. Overtime the PTFE tube bend where it exits the AMS get too tight and I get feed issues. This Modification is to resolve the lack of a proper PTFE attachment to the AMS 2 Pro.
To begin you will need to remove the existing “AMS 2 Pro PTFE Tube Release Button”, refer to the Bambu wiki for instructions.

Building and installing the “AMS 2 Pro Rigid PTFE 180 Degree Mount”. Refer to the attached numbered pictures.
- Print the three files needed, 3 walls, 45% infill. PETG was fine for part A and B, but I had to print the Guide Wheel from Polycarbonate to keep the tags on the wheel from cracking.
- Clean the two small holes in part A with a 2.5mm drill bit.
- Tap the two small holes in part A with a M3 tap.
- Apply two part epoxy adhesive around the PTFE hole on part A.
- Using a 4mm dowel or a section of PTFE tubing as a work aid. Assemble Parts A and B with two M3 x 20mm flat head screws. Tighten uniformly.
- Install a 8mm long M4 heat insert with a 6mm outside diameter into part B.
- Locate a 1-¾ OD x 1-½ ID x 1/8 thick O-ring and a M4 x 16mm button head screw. Install on the AMS, DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE M4 SCREW !
- Install the PTFE tube thru the tube portion of the Guide Wheel. You may need to clean the tube end of the Guide Wheel with a 4mm drill bit. Leave a long amount of tube past the Guide Wheel end as shown. Slide the PTFE tube into the AMS 2 Pro until it bottoms and is locked in place.
- Slide the tube end of the Guide Wheel so that it fully seats in Part A. Snap the PTFE tube into the clips around the wheel.
