Description

Boost Me (for free)

If you like my design, a boost would help me a lot.

⚠️ Please!! for your safety, use only the designer print profile (first in the list). It is tested with the latest version and free of errors. Don't risk your print...and your machine!  Oh, and if you like the model, don't forget to give me your 5 stars.

This is a textured hair comb that creates a casual yet polished look.

💈💈💈 Update (21-12-25): 💈💈💈Version 3 uploaded!! Based on requests from some users, I'm uploading a new version (plate 2), a little smaller and with less distance between prongs 13mm vs 17mm, designed for short hair. I've also added extra reinforcement for greater rigidity!

¡¡Try both and let me know how it goes in the comments 😊!!

  • Plate 1 ---> short/medium hair
  • Plate 2 ---> short hair
  • It prints very quickly (~50min) 🚀

    It is recommended to print in PLA; obviously, it is not recommended to use it with heat from a hairdryer.

    (ABS, PETG…, can also be used, but they are more flexible and may make the comb less rigid and more difficult to use.)

    Note: This model requires your printer bed to be in good condition for proper adhesion. Ensure this is the case, or apply a small amount of adhesive before starting to prevent it from peeling off. This is not the model's fault. 😉 The print profile has supports enabled due to some users feedback, but it's not really very necessary. You can disable it if you wish.

    Instructions for use:

    You can see how to use it in the videos (they are at the bottom), please watch them! (There are several techniques for using it): Before starting, it's best to use some kind of wax, hair-fixing powders, hair gel etc. to help your hair hold the style created by the comb, and not return to its normal state. I recommend these ones:

    • The final result depends on many factors such as: hair length (it obviously works best on medium to short hair, I don't recommend it for long hair), hair strength, hair whorls, direction of growth... The texturing will be more noticeable on some heads and less so on others. Some users (very few) leave negative votes (1 star), indicating that it doesn't work for them. It's impossible to design a comb that works perfectly for everyone. If this is your case, please don't punish the creators with negative votes; it greatly affects our motivation to continue designing.

      • Try it along with my other combs to achieve salon-quality fades at home:
