P2S Rear Cover V1 Complete - Dustcover

ATTENTION this is V1

I have uploaded an improved version V2. Both work similarly in principle. ;-)

A cover for the complete rear inner wall of the P2S printer

1. looks prettier :D
2. prevents accumulation of dust and filament residue
3. covers open gaps and boreholes

Currently, in the example pictures, you can still somewhat see the transitions to the thin areas. If you print a bit slower, it should improve even more. Besides, with the silk material used, you can see everything anyway. 😜😉

I am still working on optimizing this. ✌️

PETG would be recommended due to the build chamber temperatures.

PLA also works acceptably. However, over a longer period, the component may warp slightly.

Filament with carbon fiber would add a bit more stiffness to the thin areas.

Assembly:

The cover generally consists of one part and two fixing plugs.

Preparation:

Optionally, two magnets (Ø5x2mm) can be glued in at the bottom rear.

I also applied textile adhesive tape to the bottom surface to prevent potential noises. It also acts somewhat as tolerance compensation.

Installation:

When installing in the printer, carefully place it and simply push it backwards against the wall.

Then push the two plugs through the large holes in the sheet metal from above. Due to the tight fit, these should snap in nicely.

Optionally, a self-tapping 3mm screw can be screwed through each plug.
