This coffee table from „based“ (linked above) comes with small rubber pads that are meant to support the glass top on the metal frame. However, these pads tend to shift over time—especially when resting your feet or legs on the table. They can also lose adhesion or fall off entirely, which may cause the glass top to sit unevenly or even slide off.

This 3D-printed model provides a secure and long-lasting fix:
Each part attaches to one corner of the table frame, and the glass top is then placed on these supports. The geometry of the part ensures the glass is properly guided and held in position so it won’t shift, even during movement or when the table is lightly loaded.

The design is intentionally slim and discreet, keeping the modification visually unobtrusive while greatly improving stability and safety.
