Modular Sorting Bins With Sorting Tray
Print Profile(1)

Description
Modular Storage Bins + MDF Sorting Tray
This system combines a laser-cut MDF storage tray with a set of modular 3D-printed bins designed for organizing electronics and Arduino materials in my classroom. The tray is built from 4 mm MDF for strength and durability, and it features a 3 mm clear acrylic lid so the contents remain visible while protected. You can find a copy of the laser file in the model documentation.
The tray is sized to hold my modular sorting bins and fit in the cabinets in my classroom.
Size tray: 400 mm wide, 300 mm deep, 64 mm high (check my profile for a smaller but bambu laser compatible tray)
These bins are 3D-printed in PLA or PETG, depending on classroom needs and durability requirements. They slide smoothly into the tray, and are available in multiple modular sizes so you can mix and match to build the layout you prefer. The trays stack neatly
Available Modular Bin Sizes:
98mm x 73mm height 56mm
49mm x 146mm height 56mm
49mm x 73mm height 56mm
32.66mm x 73mm height 56mm
196mm x 73mm height 56mm
98mm x 146mm height 56mm
196mm x 146mm height 56mm
I use these bins daily in my classroom to store electronics components, Arduino supplies, sensors, and other small parts, keeping everything clean, modular, and easy for students to access.
Note:
This specific tray design does not fit on a Bambu Lab laser cutter due to bed-size limitations. Check my Makerworld profile for a Bambu laser compatible tray.
