clip4filament
Print Profile(2)

Description
— clip4filament v.5 —
a simple clip to keep the filament in place.
This is the 5th version, or rather the 5th generation, born after many trials, attempts, and several printed objects that were then discarded. Like many, I needed a truly functional clip to hold the filament on the spool when not in use.
In MakerWorld there are already many solutions, but none fully convinced me. In the end, I rolled up my sleeves, designed, and tested this version which, in my opinion, is truly the definitive one.
Designed for the original Bambulab spool, it is also engineered and tested for cardboard spools such as Elegoo, Overture, Polymaker, and many others.
I designed it to be printed as is in the model, thus lying on its side, to ensure the best possible balance between strength and flexibility. This way it can be used, used, and reused without issues.
I recommend printing it with minimal settings, if possible in PETG. Not having the ability to use ASA or ABS on my A1 mini, I optimized this clip to withstand well even during the drying of PETG itself.
(Generally, a more resistant material than the one you need to dry is used in the dryer: PETG to dry PLA, ASA for PETG, and so on.)
Simple, convenient, and above all effective: the clip4filament v.4 is designed to be the last clip you'll ever need to print!
++drying the filament well before printing is good practice and sometimes necessary++
I used a preset in Bambu Studio for a 0.6mm nozzle
