Description
Sharing my Bambu Lab A1 enclosure, its drawbacks are large space occupation and high cost, it can be replicated or used as a reference, the outer frame uses 2020 aluminum profiles and acrylic panels, with overall dimensions of 800mm wide, 600mm high, and 650mm deep
The enclosure is divided into two compartments, a left printing compartment and a right sealed compartment. Inside the right sealed compartment, a bracket is built using 1515 aluminum profiles. The lower layer can hold 6 spools of filament, and the upper layer, in addition to the AMS, can hold another 6 spools of filament, so there's no need to worry about opened filament having no place to store
The right AMS feeding system is equipped with an automatic drying device, which can automatically start heating pads for drying based on humidity and stop after reaching the set humidity, with overheat power-off protection, using a cross-flow fan with PWM speed control to blow on the heating pads for high-temperature drying. Currently, the effect is very good and it's very quiet
Both the power cord and AMS control cable are fitted with sealing caps to enhance airtightness, the size of the sealing cap is just right and the model has been uploaded to the platform
Pneumatic fittings installed on the PTFE tube increase airtightness, the original PTFE tube is not long enough and needs to be purchased separately
All acrylic panels of the enclosure are pressed with sealing strips, the right side panel uses a compression-fit method, secured with hinges and latches, making filament changes very convenient. A 110mm hole is opened on the left side of the enclosure for exhaust, later a connector will be printed to convert it to 50mm for outdoor exhaust
The top cover plate and the right side door panel are fitted with D-shaped sealing strips. Because it is sealed with a compression-fit method, the front door panel is fixed with hinges, and other panels are fixed by inserting them into slots. The acrylic panels used are 4mm thick, and sealing strips are inserted into all the slots
