It is print-in-place, the ball breaks from the support easily thanks to a custom painted support. After printing, keep the ball fixed with one finger and pull the support to remove it. There is a CAD-designed support for the window on the front. Pull it strongly and it'll come off cleanly with a snap. If you are not using my profile, check my profile to see how the support should be configured.
I tested the hanger with towels, t-shirts, and paper. If the object is thin enough, it'll work. To use it, just insert the towel into the slot, pull it all the way up and release it. To get it out, pull the towel all the way up, and pull it to the side.
There is a slot on the back for double-sided tape. The slot accepts maximum 20mm wide tape (1 line of 15mm or 2 lines of 10mm also work). The slot is ribbed so that the tape sticks better. I would highly recommend thick & transparent double-sided tape (sometimes has red lining) because foamy ones tend to leave residue: Link to the recommended double-sided tape.
