Description

I like to store my rocket fuel and black powder in these 1000ml jars. They have a convenient double lid and seal pretty well, so I designed this container to keep my chemicals dry. It mounts to the jar lid from the inside and is designed to be fairly low-profile and universal. The dimensions of an assembled container are 70mm x 17.5mm. I had some o-rings laying around, so I put in a recess for those to seal around the bolts, although I'm not sure how much that's necessary, if at all… I put in an extra set of regular holes as well, in case you don't have any o-rings.

Hardware

  • 3x M3 bolt (cca ≥5mm)
  • 3x M3 nut
  • 3x o-ring (optional)

Printing Instructions

The provided prusa slicer project (.3mf) already has all the right settings. Generally, I'd recommend using a default preset for a 0.2mm layer height, with ≥3 perimeters and painted supports for the recessed bottom faces. I like to print stuff like this from PETG, but PLA will probably do just fine, too.
