This is no ordinary Advent calendar — it’s a real maker’s Christmas project!
A fully printable Christmas tree decorated with 24 numbered filament spools — each representing one day of Advent.
You can print the spools in 12 different colors for a bright festive look, or keep it simple with a few tones. The AMS is only required for the numbered spools and the Christmas star; the rest of the model is single-color.
Each spool can hold a small surprise — such as:
- 🎁 Gift codes or vouchers
- 💌 Little paper notes or messages
- 🔩 Tiny objects or trinkets
After the holidays, reuse the spools as mini filament samples, cable holders, or organizers — every spool features a threaded core so they can be screwed together.
⚙️ Printing Details
- The tree has a Fuzzy Skin texture for a realistic surface.
- Mounting pins for the spools are excluded from the fuzzy modifier — don’t move the yellow modifier dots, otherwise the fit will be off.
- The star on top is a separate part — print it multi-color for extra shine, or keep it classic.
- All 24 spools are placed on a single-color plate for estimating total filament usage.
