Description
Tired of seeing your LED strip connectors unplug at the slightest movement
I have designed a series of universal securing shells for 4-pin LED connectors.
They cover various variations I have encountered
- short or long round cables
- flat cables
- internal or external male/female plugs
I have only modeled for 4 pins, as these are the most common for powering LED strips, but 3 pins should probably also work (not tested)
👉 Compare your cables to the descriptions below and choose the appropriate solution.
All indicated measurements correspond to the internal length of the connector.
🔰 CONNECTOR SOLUTION 🔰
🔰 Solution A
External Female (round cable) → External Male (round cable)
Interior: ~45 mm
- Connect, clip, enjoy!
- No support needed


🔰 Solution B
Internal Female (round cable) → External Male (round cable)
Interior: ~38 mm
- Connect, clip, enjoy!
- No support


🔰 Solution C
External Female (round cable) → External Male (flat cable 4×1.25 mm)
Interior: ~47 mm
- Connect, clip, enjoy!
- No support


🔰 Solution D
Internal Female (round cable) → External Male (flat cable 4×1.25 mm)
Interior: ~40 mm
- Connect, clip, enjoy!
No support


🔰🔰 LED Solutions (attachment to the LED strip) 🔰🔰
👉 For these versions, first slide the shell 5 cm before the connector, then slide it up until it stops, connect, clip… and enjoy!

LED Female → External Male (round cable)
Interior: ~30 mm
- Support enabled on LED side only

LED Female → External Male (flat cable 4×1.25 mm)
Interior: ~32 mm
- Support enabled on LED side

Interior: ~17 mm

External Female (round cable) → Internal Male (flat cable)
Interior: ~40 mm
- Connect, clip
- No support

Interior: ~23 mm
- Support enabled on LED side
