Crate Lid Handle
Print Profile(1)

Description
I made a lid for my crate to put in my car, and I wanted it to have this “lock” so I can push things down without it opening.
I drilled a 16 mm hole in the wooden cover, about 40 mm from the edge.
turn it 90 degree to open and close and when open you also have a handle to pick it up.
Assembly:
Insert the female part from underneath, and the male part from above, all the way through. Add a screw at the bottom to secure it in place. (You can see this in the attached photos.)
Since I live in a hot country and I intended this for my car, I printed it in PETG. As of uploading this, it’s winter, so I can’t yet tell if it will withstand the hot summer days — I’ll update once I know.
