KV44 Tank Series: Dora

This is my fourth KV44 series project, and it's the most intricate and thoughtfully designed one to date. I personally feel the result is better than the previous ones. Since my child loves the KV44 animated series, I designed this model in consultation with him. He named it "Dora," and I'm honestly not sure if that's the correct name.

Let's talk about the design features of this model:

1. First, the size isn't too large, 100x180x100mm. The main goal was to achieve a delicate design, and I believe scaling it up for printing will definitely be fine.

2. The dumbbell-like decorative lines on the tank's top surface don't require glue; just tap them in with a small hammer. I found the process of tapping them in to be very satisfying.

3. The other decorative lines are too small and generally require glue.

4. The main turret is a hollow design, so the supports in this area can be a bit challenging to remove. I have a hook, so I can remove them quickly, but if you don't have one, you'll need to find a way and remove them slowly.

5. Please refer to the images I've uploaded; there are a few showing the assembly process, and they illustrate the challenging parts of the installation.

6. The black-headed tank was the initial version, and I used multi-color printing. Seeing so much "bamboo poop" (purge lines) broke my heart. I optimized some details based on the first version and printed another red-headed tank. This time, I didn't use multi-color printing; instead, I painted it with acrylic markers, and honestly, the effect is excellent. The acrylic markers I used are from "Xiao Hei He" (Little Black Box); you can search for "Xiao Hei He" on JD.com.
