Description

Hey All,

Here is Christmas sign #18. I used 5 colors in my example for this one, but the colors can all be easily changed in Bambu studio by each individual part under objects, so you can customize colors as needed (no painting needed).

In the main profile and magnet profile Ironing is turned on for an extra smooth top look. I also created a flat profile for this one for those of you that prefer to print face down, and a face down magnet is also included in that profile.

This sign can also be scaled to fit different size printers as needed.

Here are the different plate types in each profile:

Free Standing (like in the main image) (stand optional) -  thick enough to stand on its own, but still thin enough to use a stand for extra support so it doesn't fall over.

Thin - sign is cut nearly to half thickness, so it is still pretty sturdy but cannot stand on its own and would need a stand of some sort (I have the one I used linked below). This one shaves off a little filament and time from the print. You could also lean it against something.

Extra Thin - Up to half the thickness of the thin version, this one uses even less filament and time, and is also good for hanging on the wall or somewhere with double sided tape or command strips, etc.

Magnet -  an embedded magnet version of the sign is in the magnet profile (flat version of the magnet is in the flat profile). This just has four 10x3mm magnet slots in the model which will automatically pause when it is time to insert them for easy resuming. If you want to use different size magnets you can always adjust the magnet dimensions under objects<generic cylinder, just make sure you adjust the pause and placement if changing the magnet height from 3mm.

Flat - This profile has all of the above options in its own print profile, but they print face down for those who dont like ironing or prefer the plate texture on their prints.

If you are interested in a stand that can be used for both the thin and free standing versions (as seen used in my other signs) there is a great one here:  Made by maker Kopp3D (I usually use the medium version): https://makerworld.com/en/models/479988-simple-display-stand-parametric-fully-customizable#profileId-405824

I will attach materials and filament colors I used in my example below.
