Description

I present to you my newest creation:

3D Printable Functional Crossbow Replica

This fully 3D-printed crossbow model assembles without a single screw, spring, or metal part (except for the string). It features a realistic look and functional trigger mechanism – perfect for cosplay, collectors, or backyard fun.
It's modification of my older model of medieval crossbow, now in more modern, tactical version.

This prop is harder to assemble and you probably gonna need to do some preparations: a little bit of sanding in tight spots, and some holes may need to be cleaned or adjusted with drill bits (4mm, 6mm, and 8mm).
In some places you may use glue to secure parts that wouldn't be disassembled in the future.
If you gonna use the crossbow as a prop for cosplay, you may print with low infill and use a piece of elastic rope for the string, for shooting I recommend to print with a high infill and with high amount of walls.
I recommend use PETG for all of the springy parts, all the other can be done with PLA.
Picatinny rails may need a little bit of sanding before use, it depends on how well you calibrate your printer.

Key Features:

  • Fully 3D printable – no metal fasteners and springs
  • Realistic design and mechanism
  • Easily detachable stock
  • Great for cosplay, display, or garden shooting
  • Limb printed in PETG with 100% infill can reach approx. 16 kg (35 lbs) draw weight – enough to have some fun in the backyard
  • For indoor play, lower infill is recommended for reduced power
  • String length used: approx. 42 cm (16.5 inches)
  • Easy to follow assembly guide

⚠️ Warning: Never aim or shoot at people or animals.
