Since the individual parts of my previous filament boxes regularly fell apart, I have now designed something to my liking with this

All parts are connected via snap-fit, so that the whole thing does not disassemble itself with normal handling

 

In the print profile, two different axles are stored

Depending on the spool diameter, you have to use the thick or thin axle

I use filament from Bambu Lab (requires thin axle), as well as Geeetech, Jayo and Sunlu (each requires a thick axle)

 

 

The container is used upside down → When changing the filament, you therefore don't have to reach into the box and fumble around in it, or even lift the entire spool holder with the filament roll out of the box

 

Open the box, lift off the container, and everything is easily accessible

 

The original hinged lid of the closure is removed and a stopper is inserted instead. An M10 push-to-connect fitting can be screwed in and a PTFE cable is pushed into the inside of the box

Please note: The PTFE cable must be pushed through the M10 push-to-connect fitting, all the way into the box. This is not possible with all push-to-connect fittings you can buy, please test beforehand
