Boost Me (for free)
Customizable models receive very few downloads through Makerworld directly, since most users will download the model directly from the customization link. If this model was helpful, a boost or a review is greatly appreciated! If you think this model sucks, please leave a review so I can do better next time :)
This simple print allows you to hang a wreath (or other decor) on your door for about $1 in filament. There are different pre-configured profiles for long (250mm), medium (150mm), and short (50mm) hangers for standard 45mm (1 ¾") exterior doors and 35mm (1 3/8") interior doors.
For some people, none of the models uploaded to MakerWorld will work for their specific door, wreath, or aesthetic preferences. That's why this model is also fully customizable! The steps are simple, and everything from the door width, hanger length, material thickness, and more can be customized to suit your needs and be ready for printing in less than 5 minutes. No account or modelling skills are needed; just follow the steps below or refer to the included PDF for full instructions.
Customize your hanger using this link
Step 1: Drag down the configuration slider (near the top left corner) to view all the input dimensions.
Step 2: Adjust the dimensions as needed. Refer to the sketch in the attached PDF for details of what each dimension measures.
Step 3: Export your file using the settings described in the PDF, or export to your preferred file type.
Step 4: Unzip the file. If you want to use the print settings that worked well for me, you can open the print profile from the pre-configured model in MakerWorld. Then simply drag the file for your customized model into Bambu Studio (with the print file for the pre-configured model open). Your customized model will be added to the build plate, and you can then delete the pre-configured version! Alternatively, you can open your downloaded file in Bambu Studio (or your preferred slicer) directly to configure your own print settings.
I printed in PLA Matte and had no issues with strength or quality. Basic PLA, PETG, or any other material should work equally well. If you're experiencing warping, you can change Brim type to Outer brim only under the Others tab in Bambu Studio, but I had no issues without a brim.
