Required Hardware

(8) - 10mm x 15mm x 4mm bearings

(16) - 4mm x 9mm x 4mm bearings

(32) - M2 x 8mm screws

The idler wheels have a pause command at layer 38. When the printer pauses, drop the 4mm x 9mm x 4mm bearings into the cavities and then resume printing. The bearings will be locked in place.

Press the 10mm x 15mm x 4mm bearings into the inner and outer frames. The inner frames are marked with L and R to distinguish left and right.

Install the idler support shafts with four M2 x 8mm screws.

Install the idler wheels and spacers.

Install the sprocket. The hex side of the sprocket should be closest to the inner frame.

Install the outer frame with four M2 x 8mm screws.

Print the tracks with 85A or softer TPU. Standard 95A TPU is too stiff and will hold its shape instead of flexing properly in cold snow, which can cause the tracks to “freeze up”. I've had great results using Siraya Tech 85A.

NOTE
MakerWorld does not let you upload 3MF files with custom filament settings, so I had to upload the track plate as “Generic TPU”. Here are the settings I use for Siraya Tech 85A TPU. Feel free to try these.

Version History

  • V1.0 - (11/29/2025) - Initial release
  • V1.1 - (1/1/2026) - Updated rear inner frames to reduce the amount the rear tracks are allowed to pivot.
