Creating this model took me many hours of design and dozens of hours of printing to make the prototypes, if you also want to contribute to my hobby consider giving me a boost!

Bring the Christmas spirit to your desk with this unique epicyclic Gyro Fidget Spinner!

This design uses "Herringbone" (double helical) gears that interlock vertically. The result is a 100% Print in Place mechanism that never disassembles, printable in one piece without supports.

Key Features:

  • ⚙️ Planetary Mechanism: Smooth and hypnotic rotation.
  • 🎄 Christmas Theme: Red crown with a golden band and planets decorated with white snowflakes.
  • Print in Place: No assembly, no screws, no glue. Peel off the plate and spin.
  • 🛡️ Herringbone Design: Solid and robust, the gears cannot fall out.
  • 🎁 Perfect for: Christmas gift, stress reliever, desk decoration or "stocking stuffer".
  • Only 6 color changes for optimal printing with minimal waste!

Happy printing and Merry Christmas!

The tolerances are very low, so it might get stuck or not spin at all, in case this happens, I strongly recommend pressing firmly on both sides of the points shown in the photo (it should definitely unlock by repeating this procedure a maximum of 2 times)

The model is designed in separate parts to allow for multicolor printing, but it is a Print-in-Place mechanism. You must absolutely NOT separate or move the parts in the slicer. Print them exactly as they are arranged in the file, otherwise the herringbone gears cannot be assembled later.
