Description

Bring life to your bookshelf with these 3D-printed planter bookends, designed to hold small plants while keeping your books upright and protected. Each bookend includes a full planter cup with a built-in water-management system.

 

🔧 Model Features

  • Integrated Planter Cup – Perfect for succulents, small foliage plants, or artificial plants.
  • Smart Drainage System – A drainage hole is located at the rear-bottom of the planter. Water exits through the hole and flows into a wrap-around gutter channel, preventing moisture buildup and protecting your shelf.
  • Sturdy Bookend Backplate – The solid backplate gives the model strength and stability when loaded with soil or plant weight.
  • Clean, Modern Aesthetic – Smooth curves and simple geometry blend well with any décor.

  • Infill: 15–25% (higher for extra stability)
  • Supports: Not required for most slicers, depending on orientation
  • Material: PLA, PETG, or ASA

     

    • PETG recommended for planters due to moisture resistance.

💧 Usage Notes

  • Add a thin layer of gravel or mesh over the drain hole if using soil.
  • The integrated gutter prevents water from pooling directly beneath the planter.
  • Safe for live or artificial plants.
