Description

Welcome!

After months of designing and testing, Stage one is complete, and our Smart Sprouts Indoor Growing System is ready!

This is a fully 3d printed indoor solution for growing sprouts and greens. This design is hydroponic and does not require soil or additives to grow sprouts; all you need is water.

The Smart Sprouts Growing System is designed to work indoors and comes with a light system, allowing you to grow sprouts anywhere indoors without sun exposure, making it versatile and really easy to use. 

The Smart Sprouts Growing System uses a magnetic light system with no buttons to press; the light magnetizes and automagically turns on! 

 

Add a Smart Plug to everything, and now you can also automatically control the lights on/off duration to ensure the best results.

All you need is water, seeds, and some patience! 

Stage one:

Initial release of the Smart Sprouts Indoor Growing System.

Stage Two:

If this project gets a lot of traction and people are interested in it, I will design an intelligent LED controller to control multiple of this design at the same time. The Smart LED controller will connect to Home Assistant, allowing you to add automation to turn the lights on and off and more!

Print Settings

  • Material: PETG (for food safety purposes)
  • Nozzle Size: 0.4mm
  • Layer Height: 0.2mm
  • Vertical Walls: 2
  • Infill: 15%
  • Supports: Needed but already assigned in the m3f, make sure to load it as a project in the slicer.
