Design
Unfortunately, the Nabu Casa Z-Wave adapter ZWA-2 no longer had a good spot on the shelf without being too close to other antennas So a wall solution was needed
I kept the design as compact as possible without sacrificing stability And while we're at it: a suitable version for the Multiboard System was also created

Variations
There are two variations each of the wall-mounted IKEA SKADIS and Multiboard versions
One variation requires a USB-C male-to-USB-C female 90-degree adapter so that the cable can be routed downwards Alternatively, you can also use a cable with a suitable angled connector
In the other variation, the USB-C cable is routed either to the right or to the left – depending on what best suits your setup

Assembly

  • Wall
The distance between the screw holes in the wall plate is 77 mm
The screws I used are M4x30 mm, and the screw heads have a diameter of 7.8 mm
  • Multiboard
Mounting on the Multiboard wall can be done using this connection: 2-3x Big Thread Multipoint
This ensures the adapter sits securely and can still be easily removed if needed
  • IKEA SKADIS BOARD
    Simply print and hang

Print
I used PLA Basic from BambuLab – it works really great here
I set the layer height to 0.1 mm to avoid issues with the dovetail joint Additionally, this makes the surface a bit finer and more appealing
Support structures are only needed for the hooks on the IKEA SKADIS BOARD holder, but these are very small and easy to remove
