Christmas House Snowball

This project was so fun to design and make. Lots of things that light up from just a 10FT LED string (Link below). Look for up coming different sport houses!

If you like this one here is a variation of this:

Easy to print and put together. Fuzzy Skin settings (Fuzzy Skin Point Distance 1.5 and Fuzzy Skin distance .8). Presents are glued together and then to the main body.

Printing Tips:  Use Tree(Auto) supports for main snowball house body and Santa Hat. Use tree(manual) for Top Ball, Mailbox, Windows and Door Frame. Normal(auto) supports for House bottom. No supports for Snowball Christmas Lights, Presents and Christmas Tree.

Highlights:

  • Light up Christmas Snowball Lights
  • Light up Presents
  • Light up Mailbox
  • Light up Top Snowball
  • Light up Christmas Tree
  • Magnetic Present Tag that you can customize.
  • Hobbit Door

Amazon Light Kit:

Amazon.com: btfarm 6 Pack Fairy Lights Battery Operated with Timer, 10FT 30LED Twinkle Lights Waterproof, Copper Wire Christmas String Lights Battery Powered for Indoor Outdoor Wedding Party Holiday Decorations : Home & Kitchen

To install the lights:

  1. From inside the Santa Hat push the end of the LED string through the top hole. Pull 4 LEDs through this hole for the top snowball.
  2. Ball up those 4 LEDs you just pulled through and insert into Top Snowball.
  3. Add Top ball to Santa Hat.
  4. Pull the LED string down to the Mailbox light insert hole. I added the next white light to the mailbox.
  5. Outside Presents: pull the next Blue, Red and Green LEDS through the bottom hole in the main snowball body. Fold LEDs and Wires so they can be added to the back of the presents. I made mine like a trident and pulled the extra wire back through the hole. You can also fold the wire up like an accordion for each present, we will do this method for the Christmas Snowball Lights on the outside of the Santa hat.
  6. Locate the bottom hole found on the Santa Hat. Pull a loop of 7 to 10 LEDs through this bottom hole for the outside Christmas Snowball Lights.
  7. Determine how you would like the 10 LEDs distributed around the Santa Hat. Fold the wires at each LED like an accordion until the wire between each LED is the length you like. Insert accordioned wires into each Christmas Snowball Light, add back.
  8. The remaining LEDs inside the house wrap around the Christmas Tree found at the middle.
