Dyson V8 Issue Fix Adapter

Description
My Dyson V8 is old but still works well. However, the biggest problem is that when it's wall-mounted for charging, the dust cover doesn't reset, and small things always fall out. I made a plug for it before, but I had to take it off every time I needed to use it and put it back on afterward, which was too much trouble. Luckily, I had some odds and ends on hand that I could use, so I made a new one.
The extra parts I used may not be suitable for you; they are just for reference. Round magnet: 9mm diameter, 1mm thickness. I left a space of 10mm diameter and 1mm depth. Square magnet: Originally a 4mm wide, 8mm long, and 2mm thick magnet, I broke it, so I used the larger part. I left a space of 5x5x2mm for it. The pivot is a straightened 1.5mm diameter pin, at least 40mm long. The hole for the spring is 12mm in diameter; I used a 10mm diameter, 20mm long spring. The screws used are M3x8mm. Even with the screws, CA Glue is still needed to bond them together, otherwise the strength will not be sufficient.
When the final product is hung on the wall to charge, it returns to its original position by the weight of the round magnet and the cover plate, and stays closed by the attraction between the round magnet and the square magnet. It is very suitable for people like me who use Crevice tools for a long time. However, it still needs to be removed when you want to switch to the power head.
