SnapLock Storage Box– Single Latch | small chamfer

👋 About this remix

I remixed Hugo's ingenious SnapLock storage boxes because the very large chamfers on the boxes bothered me

🔧 Changes to the Chamfers

• Externally, there is now only a 2 mm chamfer
• Internally, the chamfer has been reduced to 1.2 mm to 0 mm – depending on the wall thickness (thin wall = larger chamfer)

Through these adjustments, the box could be significantly reduced in width, depth, and height

📐 New Options & Improvements

🔄 Selectable Internal or External Dimensions

Previously, the box was defined by its external dimensions. Now you can choose whether you want to use internal dimensions or external dimensions

🛡️ Parameter Safety

All parameters now have minimum thresholds to ensure stable generation. If something does go wrong: CTRL+Z after closing the parameter mask restores the previous state

📏 Sizes & Limits

Minimum Values

• Depth: 12 mm (if anyone ever needs that 😄)
• Width: 41 mm external / 37 mm internal (with 2 mm wall thickness)
• Base Height: 20 mm
• Lid Height: 13 mm

Optimal

• Wall thickness from 2 mm, otherwise the sealing notch will not be fully generated

🔧 Fixed Bugs

• In certain configurations, the hinge was incorrectly calculated. Thanks to a completely new internal connection/logic, this error should now be permanently fixed

• Fixed an error in lid generation over 33 mm. Part of the hinge was cut off – this no longer occurs

🎨 Restored Geometries

• Radii and chamfers on the latch have been reconstructed. These had accidentally disappeared in the last update
