Christmas Pyramid

  • 5 levels
  • approx. 75 cm High
  • With Optional Lighting
  • With drive

It is best to use the individual files for printing, the "Complete" print profile is more for overview. The pyramid can optionally be operated with the TT Motor LA001 from the Makers Supply Shop, and small lamps can also be used as lighting on the lowest level. The lowest level consists of 3 colors, a classic top color, a dark one and transparent for a translucent background. All other levels are without a background and can be printed with one filament. An AMS is recommended for the lowest level, but it can also be printed with filament changes and pauses. The print plate with the wings is only listed once; to get all 12 wings, it must be printed twice. I printed PLA filament in beige and some parts in white and gray, but you are of course free to choose your colors. It certainly looks very authentic with PLA-Wood filament. The pyramid should actually only be able to be plugged together, but for more stability you can of course glue the parts together.

Assemble the gears as shown in the picture with M3x20 screws, just like the wheels in the last picture (printed by me in black) with M3x20 screws.

You can imagine how much work, time, and filament went into this project! I also know that it's not yet perfect and some individual parts need improvement. As you can see, I'm not a professional when it comes to designing models, so if you notice anything or have ideas, please leave a comment so I can improve it.

If you want to support me with a small gesture for all the work, please give me a Boost, that would make me very happy and help me continue and improve my work ;-) Thanks in advance ;-)

If you really take the time to print the pyramid, I would be very happy if you posted a photo in the comments.

Update:

  1. The motif files in level 2 and level 3 have been given a hook so that the next higher level centers better and holds together more firmly.
  2. The spacers of the outer rings from level 2 to 3 have been made a bit shorter. This brings the outer and inner rings of the levels above closer together.
  3. The spacers of the outer rings from level 3 to 4 have also been given a hook to better center the next ring.
  4. The upper outer ring has been designed thinner.
  5. The new files have been inserted into the respective print file and also replaced in the complete file. For everyone who has already printed the pyramid, I have added the “Newfiles”, which only consist of the changed parts. If you want to change it, it is enough to just re-print this file.
