IKEA Alex Gridfinity Mezzanine Tray - Modular

This Gridfinity mezzanine tray adds a clean, removable second layer to your IKEA Alex drawers, letting you use the vertical space above your existing Gridfinity bins without sacrificing access.

The tray is designed to magnetically connect with more trays and move as a single unit, making it easy to access the bins below while keeping everything organized.

Key Features:

• Magnetically chainable design with ¼" x 1/8" magnets to create a wider, rigid mezzanine that stays aligned and slides together
• Optional bolt on handle
• Gridfinity compatible with magnetic base so bins don't fall off from the mezzanine tray

Two Versions Included:

1. Stock IKEA Alex drawer version: Drop in compatible with unmodified Alex drawers

   This setup allows the drawer to open fully while cleanly supporting the mezzanine

Hardware Notes:

• Magnets:
  • 1/4” x 1/8” magnets to connect multiple trays together
  • 6mm x 2mm magnets for gridfinity bins (these are optional, but highly recommended)
• Handle: M2 heat-set insert + M2 screw (optionally can be superglued on)
