Description

A two axis ruler / XY-adjusting device.

It was created to get a fairly exact positioning for a detector in respect to a flat surface.

Generally, tape your detector with some Kapton-Tape to one edge, the surface which should be measured to the other

Precision is somewhere between 0.1 and 1mm. Thus, it is more of a simple fix for fast estimations and measurements with low sensitivity for accuracy mistakes.

My application was measuring the magnetic field with a axial probe.

The two tone to make the scale readable is achieved with one filament change between layers. Thus, a AMS is not necessarily required.

The real (0,0) point can not be reached without the ruler-edges going 4mm into the connector (otherwise, the connector would not work).
